Prague: The Charles Bridge (Karluv Most)

The Charles Bridge was begun in 1357 to replace the Judith Bridge, which had been swept away in a flood. For over 400 years it was the only bridge connecting the two sides of Prague. The bridge is only open to pedestrians, and is a very-photographed tourist destination. During the day there are all kinds of souvenir stands set up, and performing artists.
